My sister Julianne (alternatively known as Dew, Dewey, Deweyanne, and Aunt Dewey) came for a weeklong visit in late October.
Dewey and Sinny are the only two slightly-blondish members of the family. We try not to judge them for it.
We took her to see Plimoth Plantation.
Sinclair would have made a great colonist.
We also went to see Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II just days before it went into dry dock for two years.
And of course, we had to take her to our favorite place in greater Boston, Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
For Halloween, we had a piglet, an alien, and an astronaut.
And Helena Bonham Carter and a prisonerd (get it?)
We hosted a party for friends from church and Piercen's work and took them out all trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.
We had a wonderful time with Julianne. She's goofy and funny, gentle and empathetic; the always cherished baby sister, and forever adored young aunt. We can't wait to see her at Christmas.
