Month in Review: January and February 2016
In January, we finally got a decent snow; around 6-8 inches. Not enough to shut down our road though so that we could go sledding down it; a joy denied to me last year (re: preggo).
"Mama, why is it taking so long for spring to come?"
We discovered a park nearish our house: great playground, wobble seats, swings, a large field, and picnic tables.
Someone loves swinging.
February was lovely and warm (for February in New England). January's snow melted away and it started to feel like spring. I always get a bit nervous when warm days come earlier than expected; I fear my brain will start thinking it REALLY is spring, and then when it REALLY is not, I'll get super depressed. So far that has not happened but it's still early days . . .
Sinclair loves to swing. Like sits in the seat, mad woman cackling, loves to swing. It's the best. Luther has never really enjoyed swinging so it's nice to have a kid who appreciates one of the true joys of childhood.
