Items all listed in the shop this week. This week was quite productive. It needed to be as the items I have to be photographed and listed are starting to take over my office. I'm still having a hard time getting up early in the morning (mainly because I'm going to bed waaaaay too late), so most of the week's work has been getting done during Sinclair's nap. Which means the house is a wreck, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to take. Piercen submitted one of the three grant proposals he's doing this grant season. Luther is asking us lots of questions about death and heaven, and he's pretty worried. I heard him asked God twice today not to let him die. We're trying to figure out how to calm his fears while still keeping to the truth. We're going to Germany to visit P's family in September, and we booked plane tickets books for that. Next step is to get Sinclair's passport.
We're going to the pool today with friends, then some folks from P's work are coming over for pizza and beer to celebrate the first round of grant submissions. On Saturday, we're doing errands and home reno work. On Sunday, I'm attending a Meet Your Muslim Neighbor community conversation. For Lent, instead of giving something up, I've decided to step out of my comfort zone and make efforts to both educate myself on the Muslim faith and be a Christian ally to the local Muslim community, especially the women. Sunday is a step towards that effort.
I hope you have a glorious weekend.
