Month in Review: December 2015

December 2015 / Sinclair's First Christmas
Enjoying the candy from the Malden Christmas Parade.

This is the closest I've gotten (thus far!) to a much-desired Russian cossack hat.

The electric train was a very tempting playtoy.

As were the tree ornaments.

Snuggling up for their Christmas portraits.

Piercen's parents and younger brother came up to visit us for Christmas. The fact that it was Sinclair's first Christmas made it all the more special. We took them for a stroll around the Mt. Auburn Cemetary and to our church's Christmas Eve service. Then on Christmas Day, I woke up super sick. Piercen's mom had to fix all the meals (cinnamon rolls for breakfast, asparagus soup for dinner). Piercen caught my illness the next day. And then it developed into mono which I think we've just now about gotten over. Not the most pleasant way to spend Christmas or the first month and a half of the new year.

The kids had a great time with their grandparents and uncle though. I'll leave you with this little gem: Luther's response to being primped for Christmas photos.
