April in Massachusetts
A spring walk in the Middlesex Fells Reservation.
April. I'm trying to recall what we did. Spring slowly started to make an appearance so we headed outside whenever we got the chance. We made our first visit to the Fells nature preserve; planted some seeds for a vegetable garden (that have since floundered as they appear to require things like regular waterings), went to a sheep shearing festival, and spotted signs of spring at the park. Holy Week occurred early in the month and was especially meaningful as Sinclair was baptized during Easter Vigil (April 4). We started to find our rhythm as a family of four and enjoyed the simplicity of each other's company before the madness of May, with its various travels and visitations, began.
