I have a confession. I've started doing something that I promised myself that I would never do: I've started to wear leggings as pants. And I may never stop wearing them as such. In fact, I may never take them off at all. They've been a godsend this winter what with tights being criminally uncomfortable, and my pregnancy jeans making my itchy skin crawl. As a result, I feel the need to make an apology to all the Lehigh undergrad girls that I've made fun of for the last five years for wearing leggings as pants. So ladies, I'm sorry (although I stand by my assertion that you look ridic in the miniskirt and furry Ugg boots ensembles).

Now that that's over with, above are some thrifted outfits from the last few weeks. I'm still working on the background setup and using the timer on the camera to take the photos myself. Also a challenge is figuring out how to dress the ever-expanding belly with a shrinking number of wearable clothes. I'm hoping to find a thrift store with a good maternity section in the next couple of weeks. By the way, happy February!

  1. (a) you look adorbale! (b) I just caved with the whole leggings conundrum as well...it is just too darn comfortable. But we can still judge the Lehigh girls, I'm sure you're wearing tops that cover your bum.

  2. Thanks Kim, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who caved! But I am holding fast to the "is my bum covered by my shirt? yes? good" rule. There are just some lines that should never be crossed!

  3. I agree with Kim, your use of leggings--fetching and charming. Lehigh girls--wretched and annoying. Love the pregnancy thrifted fashions, they look fab!

  4. Thanks Holly! You, of all people, know how much I heckled the Lehigh girls for their misuse of leggings! I'm pleased so far with how much I've been able to stretch my normal wardrobe to work with pregnancy. We'll see how that continues over the next 4 months!
