I've been waiting for this weekend for MONTHS. Tomorrow I will be flying to Durham, NC to spend the weekend with my three best friends from high school. It's been over a year since we've all been together in one place, and I'm so looking forward to it. I'll be spending today packing my bag and making a big pot of chili for Piercen to eat this weekend. I suspect he's looking forward to this weekend as much as I am since he'll be able to go into work at odd times, make a mess with his electronics projects, and tune the piano for hours, all with no one complaining!
Next weekend, we'll both be gone on a church retreat, so I expect that there will be blog radio silence for about two weeks as I pack and repack, try to make up for lost time in the shop, and just generally catch up on life. So the meantime, I hope the middle-to-end of your February goes swimmingly!
P. S. If you are pregnant, intend on becoming pregnant one day, know someone who is pregnant, etc, our Bradley Birth Method teacher told us about this awesome app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ibirth-pregnancy-app-contraction/id336802413?mt=8. It has a contractions timer (because despite all the explanations of how to time these, it all still seems like Greek to me) and videos of suggested labor positions. I haven't purchased it yet, but intend on doing so soon. Birthing labor--I should have known there'd be an app for that.
