A couple of weeks ago, Piercen and I grabbed our camera and set out on one last summer walk through the South Mountain forest that surrounds Lehigh University's Mountaintop Campus. During our stroll, we stumbled across what looked to be an ropes/adventure course in the middle of the woods. Judging from the state of the trail and the condition of some of the course stops, I'd guess this course hasn't been used in some time; this didn't stop us from testing out our own skills, such as they are.

  1. Oh my goodness! These pictures bring back so many memories - I've done these courses 4867 times for school, camps, clubs etc.

So the top picture (spider web) you're supposed to get your entire team through the ropes to the other side without touching a rope AND you can only use each hole ONCE. It's super tricky.

:) Thanks for sharing. Awesome pics.

  2. I was wondering how that spider web contraption worked--I couldn't figure it out! Sounds hard to do; in fact, most of the challenges were harder than they looked initially!

    Thanks for the comment!
