Recent outfits from the past couple of weeks. That last skirt from Target is my absolute favorite. I love the bright colors, the floral pattern, the high waist, and the fact that it matches with so many of my shirts. That skirt along with the vast majority of these items came from either American Family Thrift in Hellertown or Via in Fountainhill. The rest were either garage sale finds, gifts, or the rare retail purchase.
Fall made a rather abrupt appearance in the Lehigh Valley this weekend with temps in the 6os during the day and 30s at night; I must admit, I'm not quite ready to embrace such chilly weather. Piercen and I had plans to attend the Rodale Organic Apple Festival, but we ended up meeting his best friend, his best friend's girlfriend, and her son for lunch in Emmaus, PA. By the time we finished our lingering sips of coffee, the rain had started so P. and I decided it was best to go home and snuggle up instead. On Sunday, we attended service at a new (for us) church, The Cathedral Church of the Nativity. It is Episcopalian, but I was pleased to find that it mirrored the Lutheran form of service quite closely. Pierce especially liked the service, so I think we might end up attending there for the rest of our time in Bethlehem. It feels good to get back into the church routine.
That tie necklace is completely lovely... adore it!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Cathedral is so, so pretty... I love all the dark wood and stained glass...
